Anmflare Texture
Type: Color, Filter.
This texture creates a lensflare out of, well, any object.
I mostly use a cube for this one. The idea is that the y axis of the
texture is the direction of the light, so when the y axis is pointing
straight into the camera, the flare is the most intense.
You could, for instance, make a spotlight, add a BRIGHT cube at the
position of the lightsource (with the y axis pointing in the same
direction as the lightsource) add this texture and voila, you have a
real working lensflare.
Of course you don't have to add it to a lightsource, just add it
anywhere, also it doesn't have to respond to the camera, just
experiment.
Requester:
Radius: Radius of the lensflare when y axis is
aimed at the camera.
Intensity (0..1): Intensity of flare when aimed at the
camera.
Edge Red, Green, Blue: Color at edge of flare.
Radial fade (0..1): Radially attenuates the flare to make it
less hard.
Max. Angle (0..180): Angle with camera at wich the flare takes
on the second set of parameters,
or zero for no response to camera.
3D Flare (0,1): Make 2D (0, for a plane) or 3D (1, for a
cube) flare.
Radius2: Flare radius at Max. Angle or higher.
Intensity2 (0..1): Flare intensity at Max. Angle or
higher.
sample object: any object
(try a cube, make sure y-axis points to front in detail).
